ROKA London x Natural History Museum - Waterhouse Field Bag - Recycled Canvas - Flax
Whether you're navigating the great outdoors for scientific endeavours or conquering your daily commute, this backpack stands ready to protect your tools from the elements.
ROKA LONDON and the world renowned Natural History Museum in London have collaborated to create a 'Field Bag' for explorers and adventurers. Developed alongside the museum’s archaeology field team, these practical backpacks have multi-pockets for all your tools and is available in a Deep Blue or Flax Yellow option.
Named after architect Alfred Waterhouse, creator of the iconic South Kensington building, this backpack seamlessly blends history with innovation. Incorporating both the Natural History Museum’s vision of a sustainable future and ROKA London’s emphasis on recyclable materials, the backpack’s main waterproof canvas material is made from recycled plastic material (rPET) that has a textured look and matte feel. (Further info below on this material). Sourced from post-consumer plastic such as plastic bottles, this collection is breathing new life into a material that is not biodegradable.
This roll-top backpack boasts three convenient front zip pockets and generous interior storage, ensuring you’re well prepared for any adventure that beckons. Its rugged, weather-resistant materials and intricate detailing make it a fusion of form and function.

Recycled Canvas:
ROKA London's canvas bags are made from recycled PET material. PET (polyethylene terephthalate) is a raw petroleum-based material that is widely used in plastic bottles and other food packaging all over the world.
Recycled PET (RPET) gives new life to a material that is not biodegradable.
If not recycled, this post-consumer waste would otherwise end up in a landfill or worse, the ocean.
